Bloggers Challenge - Falling for You

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday, I'm glad you stopped by today!  This weeks Bloggers Challenge is Falling for You.  The Theme is open for your interpretation - some suggestions, Fall colors, Fall Images, or even Loved Themed could fit into the Falling for You category, I'm looking forward to seeing what you create!

I opted to go the Fall Color route - one of my favorite color palettes!

To create the background I used the Watercolor Distress Technique, using Distress Stains in Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge and Peeled Paint, the clock images from Our Daily Bread Designs Time set are stamped in Black Archival, on the larger panel, and Save Time is stamped on the smaller panel along with portions of the clock.  For added texture which happens to fit this weeks Moxie Fab World Textured to Perfection Challenge, I embossed the panels with the Sizzix Clock Embossing Folder, highlighting with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, and distressed the edges with the Distressing Tool by Prima.  Both the Embossing Folder and Distressing Tool can be purchased through Our Daily Bread Designs, you'll just have to call in your order, as these items are not currently listed on the website.

To embellish my card, I dyed some Seam Binding with Rusty Hinge Distress Stain adding a Gear and Spinner and bottle full of Micro Beads, since I didn't have any sand handy!

Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Time, Save Time
Ink - Distress Ink Gathered Twigs, Ranger Black Archival
Card Stock - Watercolor, Black, Pumpkin, Olive
Other - Diimensionals, Glue Dot, Non Stick Craft Sheet, Seam Binding, Glass Vial, Micro Beads, Gear, Game Spinner, Distress Stains Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Ink Blending Tool, Pearl Glimmer Mist, Prima Distressing Tool, Heat Gun

Gorgeous card - and I love the sentiment by Jim Croce from one of all-time fave songs - one I heard when it was first released. There was a made-for-tv movie with that song as the theme also - very sad/romantic.

Thanks for sharing :)
