Designs by Lisa Somerville: Wedding Carriage

Happy Heartfelt Creations Wednesday, I'm super excited to share my project with you today! While I don't have any little girls to create for or upcoming Weddings to attend, I enjoyed creating this beautiful Wedding Carriage Favor.

The carriage is cut from card stock using the eCraft and Adela's Once Upon a Carriage Template. I embossed the carriage with a Texture Fades Folder and highlighted the raised areas with ink for some added dimension. The curtains are also part of the template, cut from Basic Grey's Out of Print pattern paper. I cut double curtains, and layered one on the inside and one on the outside. I used Heartfelt Creations Stamps/Dies and Spellbinders Rose Creations Die for the floral blossom. The carriage cut as shown is the perfect size for a favor or small gift. I think it would also be perfect if enlarged to be used as a card holder at a Wedding Reception.
