It's challenge time over at Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog! This week your hostess is Kaz, and she is challenging you to use the color theme of Black and White with a hint of color. This weeks challenge is open to ANY stamp company, but if you have Stamoptique images, we'd love to see them! Play along for your chance at a $30 gift certificate for Stampotique stamps.
Staying true to this weeks challenge, I added just a splash of color, and kept it really CAS. Actually very CAS for me, I really wanted to break out my sponges and add color around the edges, but I did resist!
I had some left over MME papers on my desk, and reached for those as my "splash of color", paper piecing Mela's dress, then added a bit of Mustard color to her shoes and leggings. The sentiment is a long sentiment, but I cut it up, and placed it on an Acrylic Block so that it will help to fill in some of the open space.
Details:
Stamps - Stamotique Mela, Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

The Stampotique challenge is open until 9/27/11 for your submissions, we'd love to have you play along. For full details, and added inspiration, be sure to stop by the Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog.
