Nothing will be Impossible

Happy Sunday evening - hope you've been having a great weekend!  I honestly thought I'd have to postpone my posting for this weekend, as our ISP was not being very cooperative!  Think it must have been the week for thing to go on and off, as our landline phones were out on and off this week, the Satellite was doing the same thing, and then the ISP.  So you think with all that downtime, I'd have locked myself in the studio, well I did have some creative time, and I look forward to sharing those things with you later this week.

When blog surfing for sketch inspiration this week, I came across this wonderful sketch at Cardabilites, and combined it with the  Our Daily Bread DesignsFall Colors or/Theme challenge.  I just love fall colors, and tend to use that color family throughout most of my papercrafting.  There's a few colors I struggle with, and I'm definitely not a pastel type of gal, but these colors just bring out my creativity!  Or at least I think so!

I pulled my colors from a favorite Basic Grey paper pack, and paired it with the wonderful verse from Our Daily Bread Designs Seed Packet set.  You can't see very well in the photo, but I embossed the strips of paper for a more vintage look.  I dyed some Seam Binding with Rangers Distress Stain (love this), added some Zva Pearls and a flower from Making Memories.  To distress the flower a bit, I added some Rock Candy Stickles.

I love the vintage look to it. What an awesome way to use my scraps. I like that you used black paper to frame it all, makes it all stand out nicely.
