Fall Leaves - Home Decor Frame

This week the eCraft designers were given Fall Home Decor as a theme to create with.  I'm super excited to share my project with you today!  I started off with this frame I purchased in the Target Dollar spot a few years ago

Then added some Gesso, Acyclic Paint and Rock Candy Crackle and transformed my frame into this wonderful vintage look

To embellish my frame I used the following images from eCraftcentralLeaf 1, Leaf 2, Leaf 3, cut from Cocoa, Olive and Mustard card stocks using the eCraft, then embossed and highlighted them with ink to add texture.  The Flowers, Swirls and Butterflies are images from the eCraft SD cards, to add interest to the flowers, I stamped the Honeycomb Background from Stampotique, then curled the petals stacked them to resemble a mum.  All  pieces are glued in place with a hot glue gun, I added Distress Stickles to all pieces.  For added embellishments, I used dyed Seam Binding and Trinket Pins.

Having a house full of men, I couldn't stick them in a flower filled frame, so I added my Wedding photo.

My other thought was to cover the chipboard with adhesive backed cork, add Chicken Wire and use it as a Rustic Memo Board, but DH said it was too small for a Memo Board, so I went in search of a Barn Picture, of course when you need one, you don't have it going the right direction!  Anyhow, here's the frame with the wire, just envision an old Barn photo under the wire

Wow, Lisa!

Those mums are mmmm-arvelous! I love what you did to this frame! I really like both creations! I love when the leaves turn color up north...so that frame is wonderful!

The other frame is just super cool, because I have never seen chicken wire in a home! It looks awesome! As far as a barn, don't you have a stamp of a barn...maybe Artistic Outpost? You could put your card behind there...then it will be part of your home decor! It looks great, Lisa, so creative!
