Explore - Bloggers Challenge

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  Thanks to those who played along with last weeks Button Challenge - my oh my, there were a lot of you who liked to use buttons, who would have thought!  This weeks challenge theme is Travel.  Some ideas....Planes, Trains, Automobiles, Maps, Globe images....Okay, so I know some smartie pants (and you know who you are) is going to say, "what if I fold up my legs and fly".  Well, that's a form of travel, and I'd love to see it!  This weeks theme of Travel is open to your interpretation, I'm looking forward to seeing your creations!

My mode of travel is this wonderful old Steamboat from the Artistic Outpost Huck Finn plate.

The colorful background was creating using the Markers and the Foam Stamping Technique from the April Technique Junkie Newsletter.  I did morph the tech a bit, as I stamped the image first, so I'd know exactly where my color would be placed.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost
Ink - Black Archival, Markers
Card Stock - Yellow, Black, Turquoise, Matte Coated
Other - Foam, Spritz Bottle, Texture Fades Folder, SAMJ, Dimensionals

Lisa,
I love your bright blue card with the boat. Very nice. I went in a totally different direction with this challenge. I didn't even think about how I travel. I was focused on the places I go and the things I see and do..... I had several traveling images (planes, automobiles) but isn't it funny, not once did I even consider using them for this..... It will be fun to see how different each person went with this one. Thanks for coordinating this blog hop. I always look forward to posting a card on Friday for this challenge and seeing what everyone comes up with.
