Our Daily Bread Designs August Blog Hop

Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs August Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Marie's Blog, you are in the right place, if not, you might want to start at the ODBD Blog, and hop from there.  There will be FIVE  $20 ODBD Gift Certificates given away as prizes this month - for full details click here.  The Hop will run 8am EDT Aug 1 til 8pm EDT Aug 2.

I just love this month's Sewing Themed release and incorporated some of the new stamps to scrap an 8"x8" page of me and some of my girlfriends on a "girls weekend" trip we took to Denver this past March.

I added some faux stitching on my Basic Grey Out of Print pattern papers, to go along with this months stamp release theme, also added some buttons and a needle and thread.  I stamped the Rocking chair from Sew Special in Grey on Vanilla card stock, and added the sentiment from Sewn with Love in Ranger Black Archival, sponging the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  The Spool and Tape is stamped in Ranger Black Archival on Vanilla card stock, colored with markers and die cut with the Spool and Tape Die.  I layered  this image on two black panels that were cut with the Spool and Tape Die, to help it stand out a bit, and added a needle and thread as my embellie.

Details:
Stamps Our Daily Bread Designs - Spool & Tape, Sewn with Love, Sew Special!

Card Stock - Black, Vanilla
Ink - Journal Pen, Ranger Walnut Ink Distress Stain, Ranger Black Archival
Other - Basic Grey Out of Print, Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Big Shot, Ink Blending Tool, ODBD Spool and Tape Die, Buttons, Hemp, Thread, Needle, The Sticky Thumb Dimensionals

I'm the last stop on the hop, thanks so much for hopping along with us at Our Daily Bread Designs!  Remember,  to be entered into the drawing you need to leave comments on each designers blog, then return to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment, letting them know you completed the hop and noting any blogs you were unable to comment on.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
