Life is Good - Artistic Outpost New Releases

Happy Wednesday!  I'm super excited to share with you some projects I created using the newest releases from Artistic Outpost!  These new plates are designed to mix and match with other Artistic Outpost collections and are available as unmounted sheets of red rubber or pre-trimmed and mounted on EZMount cling foam, stamp sheet measures 8.5" x 5.5".

The Whimsical Melange plate is designed as background and embellishment images, this collection features whimsical frames, sized perfectly for cards and ATCs.  For my card (shown at the top of this post), I combined images from this set along with the sweet girl from Think & Wonder and text from Typography.  I stamped the collage in Black Archival on a piece of Pink Paislee pattern paper, masked the image with Eclipse Tape, then added the girl image.  Before placing my image on my card, I stamped the beautiful scroll work piece in Black and added text.  The butterfly was stamped a second time and popped up on dimensionals.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Whimsical Melange, Think & Wonder, Typography
Card Stock - Pink, Black
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain
Other - Lace Trim, SAMJ, Pink Paislee Pattern Paper, Recollections Gems, Ink Blending Tool, Dimensionals

The Typography collection features unique sayings and sentiments and makes a wonderful addition to your Artistic Outpost collection, it's quickly becoming one of my "go to" sets for sentiments.  The Life is Good sentiment can be used with so many of Artistic Outpost's fab images!  I've also used just a portion of one of the sentiments on my card shown below and will be sharing another one next week, that I thought made a perfect "girlfriends" support card!  On this card I added the motorcycle from the Route 66 plate, stamping in Black Archival on a piece of Bo Bunny pattern paper.  Notice the reference vehicles and maps on the paper, I thought it was a perfect fit for these images!  The larger panel also has some of the images from Whimsical Melange stamped in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  To embellish my card, I die cut the Spellbinder Sprightly Sprockets Die from a piece of Ten Second Studios Metal, sanding slightly to reveal the silver color.

A Favorite Book features vintage images of children reading, and happens to look wonderful combined with Graphic 45's  An ABC Primer paper.  The text portion in the center of the college element is ment to be cut away, so that you an also use these images separately.  On this card I used some of the G45 papers as my background, then paper pieced the sweet vintage school girl with the plaid paper from this pack.  I think she looks so cute in the plaid!  I added a portion of one of the sentiments from Typography under the image in Black Archival.  The Ruler image is from the Whimsical Melange plate, stamped in Black Archival on Vanilla card stock, to age this piece I drug some Walnut Stain Distress ink over the image.

Love that girl in the house and how you replaced the roof with the beautiful flourish. Great masculine card with the papers and the gears paired with the motorcycle. I have to say the little yellow plaid girl is my favorite! Perfect design and piecing!

Love the little girl sitting on the quote. So clever, and her dress is perfect...and then the little bow out of the same paper....just perfect.
