It's time for another challenge at the Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog! This week Kate is your hostess, and she's challenging you to create a bookmark, please keep in mind this weeks challenge is Stampotique images only. One random player will receive a $30 Stampotique Gift Certificate, for more details on the challenge, click here.
I'm sure you've heard of "no touch" towels, well, I've created a "no touch" bookmark!
Seriously, I don't even think a book would close if you used the Corner Bookmark I created! My excuse, I'm not a big reader, so my bookmark is more for decoration! The books in my photo are actually old reader books that belonged to my grandfather, I thought they'd be a wonderful prop for my vintage bookmark. I stamped the sentiment in Black on Vanilla card stock, then added some Rock Candy Paint to the die cut, let it crackle and sponged on some Walnut Stain Distress ink to antique the panel. I added some Rock Candy to the flower blossom too!
Details:
Stamps - Stampotique Master Butterfly
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Distress Ink, Walnut Stain
Card Stock - Kraft, Black, Vanilla
Other - Spellbinders Circle Dies, Gems, Stampin' Up! Butterfly Embosslit, Basic Grey Out of Print, Flower, Seam Binding, Ink Blending Tool, The Sticky Thumb Dimensionals, Scor-Pal, Scor-Tape, Trinket Pin, EK Success Scallop Punch, Rock Candy Crackle Paint

I love your bookmark Lisa. Your Grandfather's old reader books certainly look good in the photo.
Fabulous bookmark, Lisa!
That's beautiful! What a unique idea on the corner like that... love it!
just simply gorgeous Lisa and I FOR sure would use it! :)
Wow, beautiful! It might take me 2 days to make one, lol! Couldn't smash it in a book, but might wear it!
WOW, Lisa this is one amazing looking bookmark...love it! I hear you, I am not uch of a reader either. I guess the only thing I read all the time is my e-mails,hehe, and the bible, that that is about it. Thanks for sharing this beautiful creation! Have a blessed weekend! Hugs, Sabrina
