Ranger Avenue Secret Passage - CHA Summer 2011 Workshop

Aren't these mini canvas pieces fun!  I created these in the Ranger Avenue Secret Passage Workshop yesterday at Summer CHA, the pieces are designed by Jenni Bowlin, Claudine Hellmuth and Tim Holtz.  In this class we got to use a variety of new products from each of the designers lines to create this fab pieces.  I just LOVE the large size Rub On's by Jenni Bowlin, not to mention her beautiful vintage lace stamp!  On the piece Claudine designed, we did some foam stamping with Acrylic stamps - love that the paints now come in squeezable bottles, we also used some of the new Black Gesso to antique the embossed metal!  On the canvas designed by Tim, we used the new Picket Fence Distress Stain - a MUST HAVE for all you stain lovers!  It was applied over his Kraft Resist Paper, then we added Distress Stain - which creates a soft color, since the paper was first painted with the White Stain.

Thanks to Ranger, Jenni, Claudine and Tim for a wonderful class!
