Bloggers Challenge - Embossing

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  Thanks so much to those who played along with last weeks Summertime Theme, sorry I missed commenting on a few of your blogs, I think there were three blogs that just would not open.  This weeks challenge is "Embossing", feel free to use any type of embossing on your projects and link in below.

With it being so dang hot outside, I thought I'd cool things off (even if it's just in my mind) by creating a Christmas Card, using a sweet new image from the Frosty & Friends plate by Artistic Outpost.  Sketch inspiration is from this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch.

The image is stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique.  The edges are sponged in Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  So, where's my embossing you ask - the brown panel at the bottom is embossed with the Texture Fades Embossing Folder.  Click to enlarge - or you'll just have to trust me on this!

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Ranger Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Card Stock - Black, Watercolor, Kraft, Burgundy
Other - Basic Grey Pattern Paper, Big Shot, Seam Binding, Pearls, Bingo Board, The Sticky Thumb Dimensionals, Texture Fades Folder, Ink Blending Tool, Staedtler Markers, H20 Brush

Additional Challenges - The Kraft Journal - Christmas in July, Simon Says Stamp and Show - Anything Goes

If you'd like to play along with this weeks Bloggers Challenge, please link back to this post on your blog and mention you created your card for the Bloggers Challenge Embossing Challenge. Please add your link using the Link Tool below. Just a note on the link tool, your link should be a direct link to your Bloggers Challenge Post, use your name as the Title. Please do not link to cards that were created prior to the challenge date. Entries not linking properly, or backlinked will be removed.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend

Your christmas card is really cute. It was a hot one for use too here in New England, but I'm still not in the mood to work on christmas cards, although I'm sure I'll regret that choice once Oct/Nov comes around. thanks for another great challenge. Have a great weekend Lisa.

Sorry you've been suffering from the Heat Wave...here we're just starting to have some Hot weather which is unusual for us to not have hotter temps this late in the summer.
