Love is the Master Key - ATU#30

Please scroll down, or click here for my CR84FN post

I'm excited to be joining the All Things Unity Blog as a Guest Designer for the month of May!  This month's first challenge is All Felt Up!  I was going to use that at the title of my blog post, but thought some of you might have wondered if my blog was hijacked!

So, what is the all Felt Up Challenge?  It's simply adding any type of texture to your project.  For my texture I used Dry Embossing, Faux Metal Embossing, Wet Embossing and my crumpled flower blossom, along with Unity's July KOTM (Key to Joy, The Right Words) to create this Quilt Card.

The papers for the Quilt are from My Minds Eye Stella and Rose Collection.  The Quilted Card directions can be found here.  I embossed the card quilt with the Texture Fades Damask Folder, and distressed the edges. To add texture to the flowers (Spellbinders Scallop Die), peel apart your card stock, to give you two layers, when forming the flower, spritz with water and heat set, it will help keep the blossom in place.  I added the Faux Metal Key on a jump chain to the Seam Binding.

Details:
Stamps - Unity Key to Joy, The Right Words
Ink - Maria Mist, Versamark
Card Stock - Mustard, Marina Mist, Soft Sky
Other - My Minds Eye Stella and Rose, Texture Fades Damask Folder, Big Shot, Thread, Spellbinders Scallop Circle, Sponge Dauber, Spritz Bottle, Heat Gun, Button, Clear Embossing Powder, Silver Embossing Powder, Seam Binding, Distress Tool

This weeks ATU challenge is sponsored by Flower Soft.  For complete rules and details, stop by the ATU Blog.  For added inspiration, see what the other designers created with this weeks challenge using Unity Stamps:
