Having a house full of boys men, I was just thrilled to see the new Huck Finn release at Artistic Outpost.  I can never find enough manly images to add to my collection, and these fit my family wonderfully!

When I first saw this image of Huck Finn, I wanted to put him on a raft, after my attempt failed, I decided to put my pattern paper to work and use it as a pier.  The sentiment is stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor Paper, to add color to the BG, I did some Acrylic Block Stamping, well, that's what I'm calling it.  I added some Blue Frost Ink to my Acrylic Block, spritzed it with water and let it run a bit, then stamped over the Watercolor paper.  I think made for some wonderful water. Huck Finn is stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper and colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique, I cut him out, sponged the edges and adhere him to my panel.

Details:
Artistic Outpost - Huck Finn
Card Stock - Watercolor, Black, Blue, Brown
Ink - Black Archival, Markers, Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy, Blue Frost KPad
Other - Pattern Paper, Sponge Dauber, Mist Bottle, H20 Brush
