Sharing Your Grief - CR84FN20

Thanks for stopping by today!  It's time for another wonderful color challenge at CR84FN!  This weeks colors are Plum, Lavender and Green.  The inspiration photos are from Adam at Embrace Life Photography.

When I saw this weeks colors, my mind immediately went to the new Dutch Iris image from Heartfelt Creations, here I paired it with the Dutch Iris Frame to create a Sympathy card.

Both images are stamped in Black on Watercolor paper, then colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique.  The single Iris was stamped and colored multiple times, cut with the Decorative Dutch Iris Die and portions popped up on dimensionals for added depth.  The sentiment can be found on the Heartfelt Creations Sympathy Sentiments plate.

Here's this weeks color inspiration, we'd love for you to play along with us at CR84FN, you can find all the details here on how to enter. If you upload to any online gallery please use keyword CR84FN20 so we can find your creations!

I love that you created so much dimension with your main iris - and the colouring is beautiful! I love how the iris is repeated in the frame, it's such a neat effect :)

I think your colouring is fantastic - the iris looks amazing. It's hard to make sympathy cards, but you've done a wonderful job on this one.

Lisa,
This is stunning! I love how you did the bg! It is beautiful...and then the main focus is colored so beautifully. I love the colors you chose. I don't think I have ever seen them in muted shades...even in art! YOU are an original! :)

Beautiful!
