Getting Sketchy with Friends - a Few Days Late

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my Blog/Facebook page and left birthday wishes for me!  I also received some wonderful cards from some crafty friends!  Thanks to everyone for making my day so special!

I spent this past weekend in beautiful Evergreen CO with friends.  We had a great long weekend, catching up, staying up late, giggling and relaxing!  Some of us worked on projects we needed to catch up on, a few of us also participated in a shoebox swap (more on that in another post).  During some downtime, I picked out a few sketches to play in and both Sheryl and Kim decided to use Get Sketchy #78.  I personally have a hard time creating out of my element, I NEED to have my own stuff to create, so I opted to wait until I returned to join in on the challenge.

Taking a few liberties, here's what I created with some of the new release images from Heartfelt Creations and the Sketch

If you're looking for more Heartfelt Creations inspiration, stop by the company blog to see the beautiful creations by the other Design Team members.

I knew your birthday was this week
and, of course, I didn't know
when - so Happy Birthday - even
though I'm late.

Great colors on this card and love what you did with the sketch. I know what you mean about working out of your element though, that's why we had the laptop convention!
