Bloggers Challenge - They Say It's Your Birthday

Well.....Happy Birthday to YOU!  Thanks for stopping by for this weeks Bloggers Challenge, the theme this week is Birthdays!  Yep, you guessed it, I'm in need of a birthday card!  Thanks to those who joined in on last weeks color challenge, it's always wonderful to see how others use color!

I'm sharing two cards today, "the same but different".  Both cards use the new Heartfelt Creations Flora Grande set, Distressed Leaves set and the flourish  from the Decorative Dutch Iris Die.  They both also use a sketch from an upcoming Go To Sketches Magazine from PaperCrafts.  This first card was one I submitted to the magazine for possible submission, but wasn't picked up.  All pattern papers are from Cosmo Cricket.

Remember I told you I needed a BD card, this is the one sent to my mom for her birthday.  Same stamps and dies as mentioned above, all papers Basic Grey.
For more inspiration, the Bloggers Challenge Players will be linking in below, be sure to stop by and visit them. If you'd like to play along with this weeks Bloggers Challenge, please link back to this post on your blog and mention you created your card for the Bloggers Challenge Birthday Challenge and add your link using the Link Tool below.  Just a note on the link tool, your link should be a direct link to your Bloggers Challenge Post, use your name as the Title.  Please do not link to cards that were created prior to the challenge.  Entries not linking properly will be removed.

Both of these cards are fabulous -- I LOVE that flourish die and use of the flowers. Not sure why they didn't pick up your submission card but I think they missed the boat!
