Outside My Window

I'd love to see a view like this outside my window! Yesterday we had lightly falling snow, oh how I long for Spring to arrive!

The image is from Heartfelt Creations Outside My Window Set, stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper and colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique.  I still haven't given in to Copic Markers, I really enjoy coloring with my SU markers.

I added some clouds (Sponge around a Scallop scrap), cut with Spellbinders Oval Die, and layered on a Chocolate Oval, then onto the Decorative Oval Window Die, and adhered to my card with dimensionals.

Stop by the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see what the other Designers created this week.

Why give in to Copics when you can color beautiful pieces like that??? I wouldn't either if I could color like you with my markers!

Beautiful card and I love the scene you so perfectly colored! That framing really sets off the image. What watercolor paper do you use? Love this, Lisa!

This is so beautiful, I love this card. Awesome techniques!

I'm still afraid to use copic markers, not sure if I can do the shading thing....I'm shading challenged.

Hi Lisa,

Love this image...and especially how you framed it! The bg dp is great for this piece. Lisa, you color so beautifully with SU! Markers...why would you even consider switching? You have a winning formula... stay with the same markers! lol

He IS Able,
Traci S.

p.s. Unless you get them free, of course. Then you could try playing around with them, and even use both!

Your scene is so beautiful in the die cut frame. You always find the perfect DP to highlight your image.
