It's time for another fun color challenge at CR84FN! This week's wonderful color combination is Red, Brown and Turquoise! I had a lot of ideas mulling around in my head for this weeks challenge, and eventually settled on the first one that came to mind. It was the placement/colors of the butterflies that ended up challenging me in the end!

I love working with the beautiful stamp/die sets from Heartfelt Creations, and thought they'd look lovely decorating the Tim Holtz Birdcage Die, I'm sure you'll see me doing this again!

I started out with some lovely BG papers from 7Gypsies Lille Collection, tearing and sponging a coordinating strip and adding it to the right side. I used a SAMJ to find placement for the Daisy Patch Swirls, stamping in Fresco Chalk ink. The birdcage is embossed with a Texture Fades folded lightly sponged and placed over the stamped image with dimensionals. The Daisy is stamped in Fresco ink on Red card stock and cut with the Daisy Patch Die, layering and rotating two daisies. The leaves are paper pieced from the leftover 7Gypsies paper. To add the Turquoise, I sponged ink on some Making Memories Butterflies, to tie in the red on the butterflies, I added red script using HC Vintage Word BG and Red Gems.
