I'm trying to get better at using up my pattern paper collections. YES, collections! Some of them are so pretty, I just hate cutting into them. Case in point, this pretty piece from the Basic Grey Curio Line, when I cut into last week, I had a nice sized piece left, not wanting to toss it in the scrap pile, I salvaged it for today's card.
The area under the Verses
sentiment is where I had cut the flower from to create
this card, the sentiment hides it nicely. The little bird I've added was also from that same scrap, I just cut around him and adhered him to the sentiment to fill in some white space.

Great use of your scraps, beautiful card.
I know what you mean about scraps, I have too many of them and I need to use them. Thanks for visiting my blog, love your artwork!
Beautiful card Lisa! Such a pretty sentiment and the paper pieced bird looks awesome! Merry Christmas :)
I always love how you make such beautiful art with the designer paper. That was great how you used the bits and pieces from behind the sentiment. Beautiful job.
