12 Days of Tags - Day 6

Behind once again, and improvising too!  So where's day 5 you ask?  I'm hoping to post that one later today along with day 7.  On to day 6...I worked on this tag last night, so imagine my surprise when I see Tim's tag for day 7 and he created a poinsettia, so needless to say, you'll be seeing another tag from me with a poinsettia done Tim's way!

Not having the Embossing Folder or Dies Tim used for Day 6, I had to get creative, besides it's all about trying the technique, right?  Here I used the Snowman Folder in place of the trees, and I created a Poinsettia using Heartfelt Creations Perfect Petals Die, in place of the beautiful Reindeer which is on my "need list".

To created the Poinsettia, I cut the Perfect Petals Die from Grungeboard (note it did not cut all the way, but made a deep enough cut that was easy to trim out with scissors.  Then followed Tim's directions for the reindeer substituting with Red Pepper Paint and another Texture Fades Folder.
