Falling Leaves - a Few Challenges

I had big plans of stamping the day away for World Card Making Day, unfortunately my mojo had other plans. With the chill in the air, I opted for a night of TV watching wrapped in a blanket!  While browsing some of the challenge blogs, I did make note of a few and combined them to create this card using images from Heartfelt Creations.  I do have another project with these colors I'll be sharing later this week.

I used JUGS53 Sketch and Our Creative Corners Color Challenge as my jumping points.  How much easier can it get - colors and a sketch, I just need to add my stamps.  I stamped the Vintage Word Background form Heartfelt Creations in Chocolate on Vanilla, then added the stamped Bold Falling Leaves over the script in Durango, Mustard and Olive.  Stamped the leaves again on Vanilla, and die cut them with the Falling Leaves Die and sponged the edges.  Once my stamped panel was cut to size, I sponged on Chocolate Ink, added the leaves with dimensionals over the stamped panels, trimmed and sponged ink where needed.

Details:
Stamps - Heartfelt Creations Vintage Word Background, Bold Falling Leaves
Card Stock - Mustard, Chocolate, Durango, Vanilla
Ink - Mustard, Durango, Chocolate, Olive
Other - Heartfelt Creations Falling Leaves Die, Texture Fades Folder, Big Shot, Dimensionals, 1/4 Circle Punch, Glue Pen, Sponge Dauber

What a fun technique! I will have to try this. (I have some Tim leaf stamps that are sadly still uninked.) I love the dimension you've given this. And I had the same problem on WCMD - after a gazillion days of upper 90 degree weather, it finally turned pleasant, with a cool breeze and blue skies..... I didn't make a thing! Ah well, carpe autumn!

Lisa, this is gorgeous...and it sure fooled me!

I thought it was set in an actual frame. It looks amazingly real... LOL! Great job!

Awesome card, Lisa. Love that window pane effect and the leaves are just stunning. It all looks fabulous on that base of embossed More Mustard CS.
