Bloggers Challenge - Key to my Joy

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday, I hope you've been having a great week!  Do you have any plans for World Card Making Day?  I'm planning on locking myself in my studio and getting some project done, I'll be sharing some of them on Saturday, so be sure to stop back!

This week, I gave the Bloggers Challenge Team the theme of Anniversary to create with, I'm looking forward to seeing what they've created!  I used the Patchwork Technique, some stamps from the Unity July KOTM, and some Ippity stamps I purchased from Julie, to create this card for my hubby

Don't you just love that stitch stamp, it's part of the Unity July KOTM, so are the Keys, and sentiment.  I thought the sentiment made a great saying for my Anniversary card.  The Script and Dots are from Ippity sets.  When I was creating this card I asked my 15YO what color the center panel with the keys should be, as I had all the other panels inks, and Faux Bleached - he said something "rusty and shiny".  So I went with Distress Ink in Rusty Hinge, spritzed the Key image with Glimmer Mist, then pressed onto my inked panel and removed.  The spritzing of the stamp removes the Distress ink - cool, right!

Details:
Stamps - Unity July KOTM, Ippity Dots for Sure, Thoughts from the Past
Ink - Ranger Black Archival, Distress Ink Pumice Stone, Crushed Olive, Rusty Hinge, Tumbled Glass, Wild Honey, Barn Door
Card Stock - Clay Coated, Black, Rusty Durango
Other - Ink Blending Tool, Dimensionals, Black Hemp, Key Charm, Sprtiz Bottle, Glimmer Mist

Thanks for stopping by, for more Anniversary inspiration, click on the Bloggers Challenge Logo on my sidebar to see what the other players created this week.

Have a crafty weekend!

What a great anniversary card! I especially love the stitching -- with I was brave enough to try that on a card! (Might be a good challenge down the road, huh? LOL!) TFS!
