PDCC#48 - Friendship

Thanks for stopping by for another wonderful challenge at The Play Date Cafe!  It was great to see so many of you get creative with last weeks colors!  This week brings us a color story (Navy/Green/Silver or Grey) from Senior Designer Julie Ranae, and a new sponsor!

We are thrilled to have Crafty Individuals sponsor us at the Cafe this week, the Design Team have all been provided some wonderful images from Crafty Individuals to use for this weeks post. The winner of this weeks challenge will receive a fab prize package from our sponsor.

I used images from this beautiful plate from Crafty Individuals.  Stamping the image in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then coloring using the Marker Watercoloring Technique.  I added a fun fence die cut to the beautiful Websters Pages panel, then a few Butterflies in Navy, and stamped the sentiment from this same plate above the fence.  A perfect card to send to a friend, don't you think?

Here's this weeks Color Story Photo,we'd love for you to play along with us at the Cafe, you can find all the details here on how to enter.  If you upload to any online gallery please use keyword PDCC#48 so we can find your creations!

Thank you so much for the birthday wish...this card is so sweet. I almost used Webster's Pages as well...I think their colors really lend themselves to this combo...wonderful design!

I just fell in love with this as soon as I saw it on PDC. It is a fabulous card, love the different elements you have used - one would never know it had been done to a colour range.
