Metal Flower Tutorial

Thanks for stopping by today!  I had quite a few questions on how I made the Metal Flower Embellishments I created for the projects on this post, so today I have a mini tutorial for you. (For my tutorial I embossed the flowers to add texture).  This also fits the "handmade flowers" challenge at Cards.

Supplies:
Big Shot
Alterations Tattered Floral Die
Embossing Folder - I used the Texture Fades Damask
Ten Second Studios Metal - I used Barn Red
Brad
Sanding Block
Needle or Poking Tool

Using your Big Shot, Metal and Tattered Floral Die, cut 3 small flowers, then Emboss

Sand raised areas to expose metal core

Stagger cut flowers, poke hole in center to add Brad

Curl petals as desired

Finished Flower

Here I added some greenery to the flower, and tied a Red Satin Ribbon around the Sizzix Bigz Pro Die Box Dress (656598)

use the same concept for making a larger blossom.  Here I used 2 small flowers, 2 medium flowers and 1 large flower
