Almost under the wire again this weeks for Linda's Compendium of Curiosities Challenge. This weeks challenge is Distress Stickles. I thought they'd be perfect with the Doodles and Daters plate from Paperbag Studios.
The houses are stamped in Black Archival on Glossy card stock, then using Eclipse Tape, I masked the houses to be able to add various colors of Distress Inks to color the houses.
Details:
Stamps - Paperbag Studios
Ink - Black Archival, Distress Inks Peeled Paint, Broken China, Spiced Marmalade, Brick Red, Mustard, Stormy Sky, Shabby Shutters, Brushed Corduroy
Card Stock - Glossy, Black, Summer Sun, Taken with Teal
Other - Distress Stickles Spiced Marmalade, Rock Candy, Broken China, Peeled Paint, Ink Blending Tool, Craft Sheet

Oh, COOL! (I said that out loud, so loudly that my guy downstairs asked what I was talking about)! I absolutely LOVE these houses, and the brilliant way you masked and "Stickle-ized" them is just wonderful! Great colors and a completely cool design, Lisa!
WOW this looks like a piece of art that should be hanging in a gallery. Love the vivid colors and textured feel to this card.

I really like the houses, and it's a clever switch from the standard glitter usage.
