Play Date Cafe - Inspiration Photo

Thanks for stopping by today, it's time for another wonderful challenge from The Play Date Cafe.  This weeks color challenge is just a bit different,  instead of giving you a color swatch to work with, we have this wonderful inspiration photo provided by Julie.   Use the colors as inspiration for your PDCC creation, we're looking forward to seeing how you interpret this weeks challenge.

I chose to pull out some of the more visible colors in the photo - Green, Yellow, Cream, Blue and Rust, and paired them up with this wonderful image from the Lovely Day plate by Artistic Outpost.  The image is stamped in Sepia on Watercolor paper, then colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique.  The background panels are embossed with some Texture Fades folders for added dimension.  To pull the card together, I added some Rust Seam Binding, a Stick Pin, and some Stickles to the crown.

We'd love for you to play along with this weeks challenge at The Play Date Cafe, you can find all the details here on how to enter.  If you upload to any online gallery please use keyword PDCC#37 so we can find your creations!  This weeks sponsor is Sav at Jelly Bean Designs.  Play along this week for your chance to win this Fab prize!

Great card Lisa! It's amazing how we all come up with such different ideas based on the same photo! Love how you've done the ribbon and pins, must try using pins a bit more!
