Critter Challenge - Sketch Challenge Christmas in July

*Click here for my Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday post

It's time for another challenge from The Critter Challenge Blog.  This week Melanie issued a Sketch Challenge with the Theme - Christmas in July.  What better way to get a jump start on your Holiday cards.  Here's the sketch we were given.  Grab you stamps, and play along with this weeks sketch/theme for your change to win a great prize from this months sponsor Robyn's Fetish.

Sketches are always a great starting point, here I rotated the sketch and added a sentiment above the brads.  Instead of a frame around the images, I used the Torn Frames Technique.

The wonderful vintage Santa and sentiment are from the Artistic Outpost Snowy Woods Plate - one of my favorite images to use for my Christmas creations.  The image is stamped in Black Archival on Vanilla card stock, I used the Spritz 'N Flick Technique to add a bit of an aged look to my image.  then came back in with Fired Brick Red, adding it to Santa's hat and coat.
