Creative Inspirations Paints Challenge - Into the Woods

****Click here  for my Play Date Cafe Color Challenge post

This weeks Creative Inspirations Paint Challenge is "Into the Woods" - use the paints on wood/plastic or metal.  If you have Creative Inspirations Paints, why not play along.  You can upload your creation on the Creative Inspirations Paints Blog using the InkLinkz - we'd love to see what you create using the paints.

If you've stopped by this last week, you'll see I incorporated some of the items uses in other cards this   week into today's creation.  Since I haven't totally cleaned up my studio, I thought it was a win win!

I painted a Clear Button with Ranger White Crackle Paint being careful not to cover the holes, then let dry.  Once dry, I sponged on some Creative Inspirations Paint in Sea Foam.  What made me choose Sea Foam you ask?  Well, I had this butterfly Damask Butterfly from Memory Box already stamped sitting on my table - that was really my starting point, and I had left over die cut flowers from when I created this card for Linda's Multi Medium Challenge.  So by adding the Sea Foam to the clear button, I would be able to use up some other elements sitting on my desk.  The background of my card was created by sponging Pumice Stone Distress Inks over the Heidi Swap Damask Mask, I also used the Mask on the left side of the butterfly wing.

Details:
Stamps - Memory Box Damask Butterfly, Stampin' Up! Sentiment
Ink - Distress Ink Pumice Stone, Tumbled Glass
Card Stock - River Rock, Chocolate, Soft Sky
Other - Old Dictionary Pages, Gem Flourish, Ink Blending Tool, Heidi Swap Damask Mask, Clear Button, Wax Hemp, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Crackle Paint, Tattered Florals Die, Multi Medium, Big Shot, Creative Inspirations Paint

Visit the Creative Inspirations Paints Blog to see what the other Designers created this week.

Wow, Lisa, two AMAZING cards in one CCC! This is every bit as gorgeous as the first. Girlfriend, you could teach an entire class solely on how to put elements together into a perfect composition. You have such an eye for design, and it's always so much fun to come here and admire your art!

Tooth picks or little metal skewers in the holes works for painting and not plugging little areas. Beautiful layers and colors. I love your flower!
