Bloggers Challenge - Recycle It

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  This week, I gave the Bloggers Challenge players the theme of Recycle It.  That leave the challenge pretty wide open - you can Alter Something (it's a form of recycle), ReUse (make something old new again), Use something recycled on your project (card board, shirt buttons), okay you get the idea!  Want to play along, just leave a link to your creation in my comments.

My method of Recycle It - was to alter a Bound Notebook, I think I paid fifty cents for these little books, who would have guessed, huh!  I started out with some Ten Second Studios Metal and a Texture Fades Embossing Folder, and used the Faux Etched Cooper Tech from the current TJNL.  The sentiment and butterfly are from the July Unity Stampin' Store Kit -  Key to Joy and The Right Words.  (note this kit is sold only in stores)

Looking for more inspiration, click on the Bloggers Challenge Logo on my sidebar to see what the other players created this week.

Details:
Stamps - Unity Stamp Company
Ink - Black, Lavender
Card Stock - Lavender, White, Black
Other - Texture Fades Folder, Big Shot, Alcohol Inks, Dimensionals, Sanding Block, Note Book, Ink Blending Tool

Have a great weekend!

This is awesome, Lisa. Your book cover is very elegant, a wonderful table topper element. I love those little books, I pick up so many at Michaels when they have them on sale. Sometimes they are so pretty I don't even want to alter them so I reverse them and do my altering on the back! Hugs, Gayle.
