Summer Afternoon - Play Date Cafe #35

It's time for another wonderful color challenge from The Play Date Cafe!  Thanks to those who played along with us last week, there were so many wonderful entries! This weeks Sarah issued the following "colours":  Red, Turquoise, Brown and  Orange.  I had a bunch of images in mind when I saw this weeks colors, but settled on this great image from the Keeper plate by Artistic Outpost.

I used Sarah's colors in my focal image, added just a touch of green for the grass.  To add the color to the image, I used a morphed version of Smackin' Acetate, using markers from Staedtler and some Pearl Glimmer Mist.  The image is  layered on a Black panel, then a Bermuda Bay Deckle piece that was cut using Spellbinders Dies.  The grass is from this same set, stamped in Black on the Caramel panel.

Here's this weeks Color Story Photo, we'd love for you to play along with this weeks challenge at The Play Date Cafe, you can find all the details here on how to enter. If you upload to any online gallery please use keyword PDCC#35 so we can find your creations!
