Reuse...Repurpose...Recycle

This week Marti gave the Creative Inspirations Paint Team the challenge "it's clearly sparkling", use Acrylic/Acetate along with the beautiful Creative Inspirations Paints.  I just recently purchased the new Sizzix Texture Fades Embossing Folders and thought they'd be perfect to use along with this weeks challenge.  Not having any Acrylic/Acetate handy, I used the next best thing, the clear packaging from the Embossing Folders!

I cut the plastic down to size, then embossed the plastic using the Patchwork Texture Fades Folder.  I applied Creative Inspirations Paint to the raised areas, let dry for a few minutes, then buffed off any extra wet paint.  The embossed panel is adhered to Black card stock using Stampers Magic Tape, perfect for adhering Vellum or anything clear.
