A Gift for Dad...Happy Mail Day and some news from the Kitchen!

Whew....Those were some storms that rolled through late yesterday, thankfully there is no damage in our area, and we still have power!  Joe and I did take a ride up to the nursery last night where Jimmy works, the outdoor nursery area was a total mess with large trees and plants blown all over, he'll be busy this morning picking them up.  Good thing they didn't clean up last night, as another storm rolled through after closing.

I've got quite a few things to share with you today, and rather do multiple posts, I thought I'd combine them into one long post.

Here's a great gift idea for the fisherman in your life.  This was really quick to create, as I used the Creel Box Die Cut from Creative Cuts and More.  The stamps is from Cornish Heritage Farms Thomas Kinkade Line, stamped in Black Archival on Matte Card Stock.  To add the color, I used the Pulled Glimmer Technique from the June TJNL, then went back with a H20 Brush and Distress Inks to add more color.

Details:
Stamps - Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink - Black, Distress Inks
Card Stock - Creative Cuts and more Creel Box Die Cut, Matte White
Other - Glimmer Mist, H20 Brush

Hi Lisa~

You have been busy! That gift is fabulous! I love the way your art came out...just wonderful!

That pin is great! I would love to make one a center of a card...like a medallion...wouldn't that be great!? Then the recipient could take it off if she wanted...could always have a stamped medallion under it!

It is a good couple of days for me...google and I are finally on the same page as to the details of what user name goes with what password. It is working! YEAH!!!

Thanks for your patience, Lisa.

He IS Able,
Traci S.
