Bloggers Challenge - Emboss It

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday!  This weeks Bloggers Challenge Theme is Emboss It!  Simple Embossing, Dry Embossing, Embossing Techniques, Embossing Folders, you get the idea, anything embossed.

I went the route of Simple Embossing.  I stamped the wonderful White Rabbit Collage from the Artistic Outpost Wonderland Collage plate in Black Archival on Vanilla card stock, then quickly poured on Black Embossing Powder and heat set.  I embossed my image for several reasons, I wanted to use the Antiqued Glimmers Technique, and add color to my images.  When using the Antiqued Glimmer Technique, I've found it much easier if my image is already stamped, than adding it after the technique has dried.  Sometimes the image doesn't stamp clearly over the dried Glimmer Mist.  I added color using an H20 Brush and Ranger Distress Inks.  Then went back with an Ink Blending Tool and covered my entire project with Old Paper Ink.
I also added the Antiqued Glimmers to the pattern paper, then added the sentiments with a SAMJ.  All the edges of the card stock are distressed using the Distrezz-It-All.  I'm loving this little machine!  While creating me card, DH asked if I was building a house, as he couldn't figure out what was going on in the studio.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Wonderland Collage
Ink - Black Archival, Ranger Distress Inks Mustard Seed, Old Paper, Weathered Wood, Wild Honey, Barn Red, Crushed Olive, Corduroy
Card Stock - Ruby Red, Black, Vanilla
Other - Distrezz-it-All, H20 Brush, Glimmer Mist, Ink Blending Tool, Black Pearls, Dimensionals, Pattern Paper - Donna Salazar
