Can't you just smell the Lilacs? When I was younger my Gram had the most beautiful Lilacs in her backyard. When we built our house, I planted one out in front, this summer we planted two out in the back. I just love the way they smell when they bloom.
Before I get to the details on my post, I wanted to mention due to some technichal glitches yesterday, my special 15% off promo at Kitchen Sink Stamps has been extended through today, March 2nd. To take advantage just click here, then enter LISA15KSS at checkout.
Going along with this months KSS Challenge - I did quite a bit of masking with the Multi Step Lilacs from Kitchen Sink Stamps. I stamped the Lilacs then masked them with Eclipse tape then stamped the longest branch, masked the open space where the sentiment is, then added the other branches and leaves.
The sentiment is from Simple Sentiments, stamped in Chocolate Chip. I added the butterfly from the 3 Step Hydrangea - so I didn't have to cut out the antenna, I stamped #3 in black where I wanted the butterfly, then stamped on a scrap of White, cut out and adhered in place with dimensionals. To finish my card, I used the Wisped Frames Technique from the current TJNL in Pink Pirouette.
