Three Clover Thursday - Magnetic Gift Box

Happy Three Clover Thursday! This weeks Kerry issued the following challenge - Gift Item (non card). I've mentioned before I have lots of alterable things that make great gifts, and I've had the Magnetic Gift Boxes from Stampin' Up! in that pile for a few months now. I bought them thinking they'd make beautifully decorated boxes for some altered jewelry, or gift cards for the holidays.

I just love the rich Chocolate color of the boxes, here I paired it up with some Real Red card stock and this beautiful SEI Sparkle all the Way Glitter Paper. For my image, I turned to the Old Fashioned Christmas Set from JustRite. Using the 3-1/4" Wood Stamper, I stamped my image in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique and cut out with Spellbinders Circle Dies. I layered onto a Chocolate Circle, then using the Circle & Scallop Dies, I cut pieces from Chocolate and Red card stock, then layered my stamped image onto the panels. I used Chocolate Satin Ribbon and the Bow Easy to add my bow to the tag, then adhered to my box. Once all pieces were in place I lightly misted the box with Pearl Glimmer Mist.

Details:
Stamps - JustRite Stampers Old Fashioned Christmas
Ink - Black Archival, Markers
Card Stock - Red, Watercolor
Other - Magnetic Box, SEI Sparkle All the Way Glitter Paper, Spellbinder Circle & Scallop Dies, Big Shot, Bow Easy, Glimmer Mist, Aquapainter

I agree with Gerrie - Look out 'Martha'... this is just gorgeous. I have one of those boxes left and better believe am gonna decorate it now. I also have a bow easy 'somewhere' and when I find it am gonna use it. The bow is beautiful. All your work is a WOW.

I had this on my wish list but now I think I'll just wish for your creation so I don't have to make a disaster out of my own :-

Beautiful, such great presentation!

WOw, another beauty. Your project is stunning. I see that you used Just Rite, and I was wondering if you have ever had any trouble getting a clear stamped image with them? I am having trouble, and wondered if it's jut me. Well, anyway. Grogeous project.
