Technique Junkies October Treasure Hunt

If you're here for Kitchen Sink Stamps Monday - please scroll down

I'm so glad you stopped by today! Can you believe it's already time for the TJNL October Treasure Hunt! If this is your first stop, you'll want to go back to the Technique Junkies Blog and grab your first clue.

For today's Treasure Hunt, I used the Faux Marbling Technique from the October issue of The Technique Junkies Newsletter. I'm using stamps from TJ Vendor Artistic Outpost, and card stock from TJ Vendor Paper Temptress. Remember one of the perks of being a TJ Subscriber is getting discounts from the TJ vendors!

I did my Faux Marbling in Red and Grey Inks on a piece of Red Hot Pop Tones card stock from the Paper Temptress. Layering on a beautiful piece of Silver Metallic Ultimate Glossy. I used the Silver panels under the Iron Ore Brawny panels. The focal image is from the Vintage Circus plate from Artistic Outpost, stamped in Black Archival on Watercolor paper. I used the Marker Water Coloring Technique to color the image, then sponged Soft Suede ink to the edges and background of the card stock. Admit One was stamped in Black on a scrap of Red Hot Pop Tones card stock, then punched with a Ticket Punch, edges sponged with Soft Suede, then stapled to the panel as shown.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Vintage Circus
Card Stock - Paper Temptress: Red Hot Pop Tones, Iron Ore Brawny, Silver Metallic Ultimate Glossy, Stampin' Up! Watercolor
Ink - Black Archival, Stampin' Up! Markers, Soft Suede, Real Red, Basic Grey
Other - Ticket Punch, Sponge Dauber, Staple, Dimensionals, Wax Paper

Thanks for stopping by, the clue you need from my blog is the letter H. Next up on the TJNL Treasure Hunt is Chris, be sure to stop by to see her beautiful creation and collect your next clue. Once you've collected all your clues, it will spell out this months word, you'll then need to leave a comment on Pat's Blog with your "treasure", to be entered in this months random TJ prize drawing. Note the drawing will be held Friday morning at 9 am EST, comments are moderated, so not to give away the clue. Good Luck!
