For my Friend - CAS

Normally I reach for my sponge daubers when creating, but today decided to keep it CAS (clean and simple) using Sketch 35 from 2 Sketches 4 You.

I stamped the Flourish from Our Daily Bread Designs Friendship set in Black in the center of my White Panel, then stamped it twice more (once at the top, once at the bottom) to extend the Flourish out to the corners. Using the Heavenly Holes Technique, I added some holes to parts of the Flourish. The butterflies from the Happy Birthday set are stamped where the Flourishes meet, then stamped again on scrap paper, cut out and popped up over the images.

I used the Eyelet Border Punch to add some decorative edging to my Black panel, adhered to my White panel, then used the Horizontal Slot Punch to punch a hole for my ribbon. I added the sentiment in Black using a SAMJ for placement.

Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs; Friendship, Happy Birthday
Ink - Black
Card Stock - Black, White
Other - Dimensionals, Eyelet Border Punch, White Satin Ribbon, Horizontal Slot Punch, SAMJ, Dimensionals
