Bloggers Challenge - Thinking of You

September 11, 2001 a day that changed our lives forever....Today we take time to remember those who lost their lives in the attack on America.

This weeks Bloggers Challenge is to create a Thinking of You card, if you'd like to play along, just leave a link to your post in the comments section.

To create my card (click to enlarge), I stamped the beautiful watering can of flowers from Our Daily Bread Designs Happy Birthday set in Black Archival on Watercolor paper, then colored my image using the Marker Watercoloring Technique. I picked the colors to match the color in the Basic Grey Indian Summer Paper Pad that I used for the background. I cut the image Out of the Box, then sponged the edges with Soft Suede and layered on a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Teeny Tiny Words, stamped in Black on Watercolor Paper, punched with the Small Oval Punch, layered on a piece of Melon Mambo that was punched with the Word Window Punch, then Layered on a piece of Chocolate Chip that was punched with the Modern Label Punch. I added Faux Dusty Durango Brads with the Double Circle Punch.

Details:
Stamps - Our Daily Bread Designs Happy Birthday; Stampin' Up! Teeny Tiny Words
Ink - Black, Markers, Soft Suede
Card Stock - Watercolor, Basic Grey Indian Summer, Dusty Durango, Melon Mambo
Other - Aquapainter, Small Oval Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch, Double Circle Punch, Sponge Dauber

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'm headed to the Rubber Stamp Expo in Tinley Park this weekend, looking forward to meeting up with a few friends there.
