ISC Hop...A Tote and a Card

Welcome Back, I hope you enjoyed the ISC DT Blog Hop yesterday. Betsy had created an A2 sized Tote pattern for the designers to use along with the July Releases. I went for more of a Clean and Simple, Classy Black & White look.

For my box and card, I used a morphed version of the Heavenly Holes Technique, as I omitted the colored card stock, and used White. If you enlarge the photo, you'll be able to see where I used my Anywhere Hole punch to add holes to the Flourishing Ivy. The Australian Daisy is stamped in Black Archival, cut out and popped on dimensionals. The Black diagonal panel was run through the Big Shot using the CuttleBug Swiss Dots Folder. The gems are from Kaiser. To keep my box secure, I used Magnets from Basic Grey.

Details:
Stamps - Innovative Stamp Creations - Flourishing Ivy, Australian Daisy
Ink - Black Archival
Card Stock - White, Black
Other - Big Shot, CuttleBug Swiss Dots Folder, Basic Grey Magnets, Gems by Kaiser, Anywhere Hole Punch

To create your box you'll need:
Card Stock 9” x 12”
On the Short Side score at 1”, 5-3/4”, 6-3/4”, 7-3/4”
On the Long Side score at 1”, 5-1/2”, 6-1/2”, 11”
Cut and assemble

Here's another card using the beautiful Picturesque image. I used Caribbean Sea Ink and the Spectrum Roll Technique to create my background. The image is stamped in Black Archival.

Details:
Stamps - ISC Picturesque
Ink - Black Archival, Caribbean Sea Spectrum Pad
Card Stock - Black, White, Teal, Celery
Other - Brayer, Spritz Bottle, Big Shot, CuttleBug Distressed Stripes Folder

Wowza, that black and white card and box are Classy! I love the ocean scene, it reminds me of the little bluff up at Cape Cod, both are beautiful! Love the techniques used.

Love both your cards, but your black and white is breath-taking! I love all the cards you've done using the Picturesque. (So much so I had to buy it and Serenity!) You're such an enabler!! ;D Hugs!
