Three Clover Thursday Challenge

Happy Thursday! This week Kerry's Three Clover Challenge is to create Cards for Dad (or men) and use "hardware"...anything metal (brads even). I chose to use the Route 66 Plate from Artistic Outpost - it's a great manly set. If you have the June issue of Crafts N Things - I've got a couple great manly projects using this set featured on page 79. Don't forget you can save 10% at Artistic Outpost when use enter code LS-10off in the coupon box.

To create my background panel, I used the Depth of Field Technique from the June TJNL, but added a fourth color of ink, and sponged the edges in Chocolate Chip. The motorcycle is stamped in Black on Vanilla card stock, I used a SAMJ to stamp the sentiment then sponged the edges. If you're wondering where my "metal" is, I used Ranger Mini Fasteners on my motorcycle.

Details:
Stamps - Artistic Outpost Route 66
Ink - Red, Blue, Black, Grey, Chocolate Chip
Card Stock - Vanilla, Red, Black
Other - Sponge Dauber, SAMJ, Ranger Mini Fasteners

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to click on the Three Clovers Challenge Logo on my sidebar to see what Kerry and the other Challenge Members created.

Great Card! We both used "bike" images (how fun) and yet achieved very different looks. I like the (Depth of Field) look to your background and the subtle use of the brads on the bike was a great touch.
