It's time for another challenge from Kerry at Three Clovers! This weeks challenge is Paper Piecing. Paper Piecing is a great way to use up all your scraps of DSP to add color to your images.
For the background of my card, I randomly stamped the Coffee Beans in Bordering Blue from the JustRite Just a Little Caffeine Set using the 1-5/8" Wooden Stamper. The sentiment was stamped in Black in on Bordering Blue card stock, using the JustRite Small Harmony Rectangular Stamper and a SAMJ. For my paper piecing, I stamped the Coffee Cup from Flourishes in Black on White card stock, then stamped it again on a piece of DSP from The Paper Loft, cut out the cup part and adhere to the stamped image. For the plate under the cup, I stamped the image on a piece of Navy card stock, then adhered to my image.
Details:
Stamps - JustRite Just a Little Caffeine Set, Flourishes
Ink - Bordering Blue, Black
Card Stock - White, Black, Bordering Blue, The Paper Loft DSP, Night of Navy, Cranberry Crisp
Other - Sponge Dauber, JustRite Harmony Rectangular Stamper, SAMJ, 1/4" Circle Punch

Love you card Lisa. I am inspired to go forth and make a piecing card.
Cheers
Fantastic Card Lisa. I love the paper you used for the coffee cup. You background with the coffee beans is really cool too.
I thought it was funny how we both used the same set. I almost went with the large cup but then changed to the smaller ones.
Your card is terrific!! I haven't done much paper piecing, but I am sure going to give it a try. Thank you.
