I meant to post this the other day, then got busy with a few other things on my "to do list". I was playing with various inks over the Newsprint Reveal and found that the best inks to cover the newsprint so it doesn't show through the non embossed areas are Craft or Adirondack Pigment Inks. Also, be sure you do not over heat your embossing - lesson learned as a few pieces hit the trash.
I did leave off the White Gel pen part of the technique, as my pen really wasn't leaving white lines, because of my ink, it was more a light blue, and did nothing to make the image pop.
The embossed dots on my back panel are created with the Texturz Plates - remember if you lightly spritz your card stock before Embossing with these plates, your embossing will be deeper.
Details:
Stamps - Upsy Daisy, Great Friend (all SU)
Ink - Versamark, Black, Not Quite Navy Craft
Card Stock - Black, Not Quite Navy, Bashful Blue, Old Olive
Other - Clear Embossing Powder, SAMJ, Texturz Plates, Big Shot, Heat Gun, Newsprint, 1/4" Circle Punch
