Hope you all had a great weekend. We were busy this weekend, spend Saturday at friends, they had a 50th Anniversary Party for their Mom and Dad, it was really nice, as all 9 children were able to attend. Went shopping for a new front door, I've been wanting to replace ours for sometime now, so we went back today, priced a few other ones and saved $200 by shopping around! I just love it, it really opens up our Great Room, and adds just a bit more light into the room.
I had started this card for CPS116 before we went back to look at doors, and finally just got around to finishing it. Remember last weeks post, I told you I was doing some Wet Stencil that went awry, well my base card is that piece. I covered up the parts that didn't take ink by stamping Gratuitous Graffiti in Black ink over my Wet Stencil. The Damask from Friends 24/7 was inked in Turquoise, misted and stamped on Watercolor paper. The bird from 24/7 is stamped in Black over the Damask, stamped again popped up, then lightly colored with Turquoise Ink. I used sponge daubers and Turquoise ink to add the Kind Thoughts Flourish to the Turquoise panel.
Details:
Stamps - Friends 24/7, Gratuitous Graffiti (all SU)
Ink - Chocolate Chip, Turquoise, Green, Black
Card Stock - Black, Turquoise, Watercolor
Other - 1/4" Circle punch, Sponge Dauber, Kind Thoughts Flourish (Decor Elements Catalog), Dimensionals, Spritz Bottle
