Bloggers Challenge - Graduation

Happy Bloggers Challenge Friday - it's that time of year - Graduation. I think just about everyone has a least ONE Graduation Party to attend, and I'm sure as always the Bloggers Challenge Players will inspire you with their creations.

This is the invite I created for Joe's Graduation Invites. Look mom - no layers! To create the embossed area, I used the Rectangle Nesabitlites in my Big Kick with the following sandwich:

Multipurpose Platform open to Tab 1
Clear Plate
2 Pieces of Confetti Card Stock 8-1/2" x 5-1/2
Tan Mat 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"
White Card Stock 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4"
Die Face Down
Clear Plate

The Graduation Stamps are Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Graduation. I used a SAMJ to stamp the sentiment in Brilliant Blue. The Diploma is stamped as follows:

  • Step 1 - Stamp off Grey
  • Step 2 - 4 Grey
for the Ribbon
  • Step 1 - Stamp off Brilliant Blue
  • Steps 2-3 Brilliant Blue
Since I needed to make quite a few of these, I embossed all the white card stock, then stamped the sentiment. Then went back and stamped all Step 1 of the diploma, following with Step 2 - 4. It was a lot faster to do all the cards in each step, then go back and repeat with the next step, then completing each card individually.
Details:
Stamps - Kitchen Sink Stamps 3 Step Graduation
Ink - Brilliant Blue, Grey
Card Stock - White
Other - Big Shot, Nestabillities, SAMJ

Have a great weekend! Be sure to click on the Bloggers Challenge Logo on my sidebar to see what the other players created this week.
