Bloggers Challenge - Case Yourself with a Twist

Happy Friday! It's time for another Bloggers Challenge, and I have to admit I've gotten a good chuckle out of this weeks challenge. You see, this weeks challenge is to CASE an older card of yours, but change TWO things.

So, I went back to my SCS Gallery, where a lot of my uploads are and went to the very first page of uploads from 2004, YIKES! What to CASE and change? Why just about everything! I scrolled back through a few more pages, still, nothing jumping out at me. What's a girl to do? My first thought, delete all those old uploads, but it has helped me to see how I've grown creatively, which is a GOOD thing.

Not finding anything where I didn't want to change EVERYTHING, I decided to search for something from last year at this time and CASED and changed this Graduation Money Holder. Yes, I know I changed more than two things, but I just couldn't help it.

I found a piece of Theresa Collins DSP in my stash that was perfect for a Black & White Graduation theme. The GRAD stamp is from Stampin' Up! Great Grads, stamped in Black on White card stock. I used the Favorite Occasions Set and the 1-5/8" Wooden Stamper from JustRite for the congratulations. I stamped the cap in Black on watercolor paper, then colored using the Marker Watercoloring Technique. The sentiment is stamped in Black on White card stock. I cut these with Circle Nestabilities, then layered them onto Black circles, added a Silver Stick on from Kaiser and attached to the DSP. These really come together quite easy - with graduation just a few weeks away, I'll be making more to have on hand.

Details:
Stamps - Stampin' Up! Great Grads, JustRite Stampers Favorite Occasions Set, 1-5/8" Stamper
Ink - Black
Card Stock - Black, White, DSP
Other - Circle Nestabilities, Kaiser Gems, Big Shot, Black Grosgrain, Sticky Strip, Slit Punch, SAMJ

Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a great weekend! Don't forget, click the link on my sidebar to see what the other Bloggers Challenge Members created this week.

Love the black and white card. It's perfect for any graduation.

P.S. I think most of us changed more than two things. Why stop when you're on a roll, right?
