Easter Nugget Tins

Happy Easter! I ran out yesterday to get some Easter Candy for the boys -I waited until the last minute, so I wouldn't be tempted to eat any! Wouldn't you know it, everyone and their brother was out picking up candy - there wasn't much to choose from. The boys really don't need much, their older...Too old for baskets, so I thought I'd decorate some Nugget Tins to hold their candy.
It wouldn't be Easter without the Solid Chocolate Easter Bunnies - I was able to find those for the boys, but didn't create any fancy decorations to put on the boxes. I also bought my oldest son a Jeep Matchbox, as he's anxiously waiting for his Driving Permit which should be arriving any day!

I adhered my DSP to my tins using Sticky Strip, then applied my Grosgrain Ribbon to the edge of the tin with Sticky Strip. I created a belly band out of card stock to wrap around my tin. To create the little tag, I used my JustRite Favorite Occasions Set and the 1-5/8" Wood Stamper. If you don't have the 1-5/8" Wood Stamper - you can also use the 2" Wood Stamper. As with all JustRite Borders & Centers, you can mix and match these with other Borders & Centers to create your tags.

I stamped the image on my blue card stock, and punched with the 1-3/4" circle punch. Then stamped the image Black on White card stock, and punched with the 1-3/8" circle punch and adhered to my Blue stamped circle. Stamp the image one more time on DSP, and cut of the egg image and adhere to your stamped image using a dimensional. I added color to my chick with markers.
Thanks for stopping by - hope you have a Wonderful Easter!
