Three Clover Thursday - Grab Your Sunglasses!

This week Kerry gave us an Inspiration Challenge. I love inspiration challenges, as there are many directions you can go...Pick the colors, pick the theme, pick a pattern that catches your eye.....Well, this weeks challenge is mighty bright, so you might just want to grab your sunglasses when checking out what the Inspiration Team came up with!

For me, this challenge is way out of my comfort zone, but I'm finding it might not be such a bad place after all. The brights, no square layers, like I said...So NOT me! But, I'm finding the more I look at my card, the more I really like it. I had my image and technique all picked out, it was finding a layout that really had me puzzled. I turned to my Spring Summer Catalog looking for some layout inspiration - you can see the sketch I used here.

The bird image is from Innovative Stamp Creations new plate You're Special, being released tomorrow. I used the Bandanna Technique to add color to the bird. The sentiment is from Passion Flower also being released tomorrow.

Be sure to stop by Kerry's Blog to see what the other players created using this inspiration piece.

Your card is gorgeous!
I love the coloring on the bird. It doesn't look as "spotty" of some of the Bandana Technique things I have seen - and I like it much better!

WoW Lisa! You should get uncomfortable more often hmmm....that didn't quite sound like I was thinking it would...so whats the opposite of comfort zone? and where is it? whatever the answer you found it big time and it's a beautiful place!

Also loved your card on the SU Showcase today. You have a real affinity for birds.

Peace and blessings - Jean
