We Remember Moments...

I just love this sentiment from I Brake for Stamps. It wasn't the original focal image I was using on my card, it was an afterthought, and I'm happy with the outcome. I used SCS Sketch Challenge 216 for my Sketch, and I have to admit, all I saw when I looked at the sketch was boobs, so I had to turn the sketch the other way when creating my card.

To add color to the butterflies, I used the Geometric Overlay Technique and my Colorbox Chalk Inks, then stamped my image in Black Archival and cut out. The Butterflies are popped up on the card, I added a little Spica Glitter to give them some shimmer.

The scallop pieces were made by tracing the Scallop from the Pick a Petal Brass Stencil onto black card stock. Once cut out, I used my Crop-a-Dile to add the embossed area, then the piercing tool to add the paper piercing (which doesn't show in the photo). I used my Circle Nestabilities to cut the inner circle, then ran that piece through my Big Shot and embossed using the Damask Texturz Plate from Stampin' Up!. The short Ruby panel was also embossed with the Damask Plate.
