Another Monday, another sketch challenge from MJ. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother cleaning up my studio, after all for the past few days, I keep reaching for the same stamp sets, inks and accessories! But you just can't go wrong with the simple yet elegant classy look of a black and white card, and after looking at MJ's sketch - it was screaming black and white. So, I took out the supplies that I had just put back on Friday and set to create my card using today's sketch, which I took the liberty of making mine A2 sized to fit my images.
I combined some of my new favorites on this card, those being the Texturz Plates and Friends 24-7, and combined them with a few of my old favorites - Baroque Motifs and Dreams Du Jour. The ribbon used here is the new Whisper White Organza - this is so rich and scrumptious IRL.
Details:
Stamps - Dreams Du Jour, Baroque Motifs, Friends 24-7 (all SU)
Ink - Black
Other - Texturz Plates, Big Shot, Dimensionals, White Organza Ribbon, Stamps-a-Ma-Jig
Here's MJ's original sketch if you'd like to play along.

Hi Lisa,
I had to stop by to say I absolutely love what you've been doing with those butterflies lately! The bird too!! The depth, texture and color play has been phenomenal.
That is actually jaw dropping gorgeous. Fabulous. Thanks for playing.
It is "as usual" - absolutely awesome, Lisa! You are so incredibly talented!
Wow, very classy! The black and white are great! This could be a wedding invite. Love it!

wow, so pretty!!! I am delighted to see the new white organdy ribbon, wasn't sure of what it really looked like until I saw your card, very nice! On my next order, for sure!
AND I have to tell you that I cased that great B&W Baroque Motif with Dreams Du Jour butterflies card from earlier this week for my Dad's 86th birthday card. He and my mom really loved it...probably my Mom more than my Dad but he's a sweetie and appreciates anything that I make, even if it's CASED. lol! Jan Hoyt www.inkerzaway.blogspot.com
