Precious Kitten

Isn't she just precious! Precious Kitten is a new release at Innovative Stamp Creations. I've created two different cards to share with you today using this image.

On this card, I stamped the image in Black Archival, then colored using the Marker Water Coloring Technique, then used my Spellbinders Rectangle Nestabilities to create the Out of the Box Technique. To do this with your Nesties, simply place a piece of Plumbers Gasket (or a piece of extra rubber) over the area that you don't want your die to cut through. Then using removable tape, tape your Nesitie in place, then run it through your die cut machine. The area where you placed the Plumbers Gasket will not get cut by the die. Once you remove your die, you can cut around the image that sticks out of the box. I used Little Specks for the strip behind the kitten.

On this second card using the Precious Kitten, I sprayed my watercolor paper with Sea Glass Glimmer Mist, then heat set with my heat gun. Stamped my image in Black Archival, then colored using Shimmerz and an Aquapainter. The image is cut with the Rectangle and Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities. I added some Dew Drops to help balance out my layout.
